Something went wrong in a run. How do I tell you?
Choose Send feedback on the title screen or in the pause menu. Tick Attach run details if you are happy to include a summary of the run and the last lines of the game's log; it helps us find the problem. Feedback cannot carry a reply address, so email us if you would like an answer.
Can I play with a controller?
Yes. S.A.M. plays with keyboard and mouse or a gamepad (Xbox and PlayStation), and every control can be rebound in Settings.
Where are my saves?
On your computer, in the game's save folder, and nowhere else. There are no accounts. Deleting the save folder deletes your progress.
How do I turn gameplay stats off?
Open Settings and switch gameplay stats off; nothing more is sent. The privacy policy explains what the stats are and who handles them.
Can I stream or post videos of S.A.M.?
Yes, including on monetised channels. The terms of use have the details.
Is there anything for accessibility?
Subtitles, a reduced flashing option and no colour-only cues, alongside fully rebindable controls.
